Fuji 1000 km

Fuji 1000 km

Fuji 1000 km (Fujisenkiro) is an endurance race held every year from 1967 to 1992. While there was also a time when the suspension was stopped, Fuji 1000 km continued to be held without interruption during the interim, but was canceled in 1993 (JSPC) collapse and economic recession. After that it was no longer held. In 1999, as a 35th anniversary project of the Fuji Speedway, it was revived only once as "regulation Le Mans Fuji 1000 km". In 2007, it was incorporated as one race, and it recovered for the first time in eight years.

At the start of 1967, it was organized by TMSC (Toyota Motorsport Club). At the same time as the beginning of 1977, it was hosted by the FISCO Club. It became a battle in 1985, becoming an international civic race and again hosted by TMSC (jointly with VICIC).

From 1983 to 1988, as "(the battle of)", from 1989 to 1991 "Inter Challenge Fuji 1000 km" (the first battle), 1992 was sponsored by MSCC (Mazda Sports Car Club), Fuji 1000 km race was held twice a year.
